Central Coast Voice and Swallowing

About

Welcome to Central Coast Voice and Swallowing. We are a Speech Pathology clinic that specialises in helping adults and adolescents overcome their vocal and swallowing difficulties. Andrea Agnetti is the primary clinician at Central Coast Voice and Swallowing. Andrea is an experienced Speech Pathologist with a strong passion for providing a high level of care to individuals who struggle with voice and swallowing impairments. She understands that even mild difficulties in speaking, singing, breathing, eating and drinking can negatively impact one’s ability to work, socialise, maintain relationships and remain healthy and happy. Andrea created Central Coast Voice and Swallowing as a way of bringing holistic, multidisciplinary care to clients who wish to improve their voice and swallowing on the coast.

Andrea is a Central Coast mum of two who loves to sing, surf, run and enjoy the outdoors with her family. She has been working as a Speech Pathologist for NSW health since 2018 where she developed a love for helping patients regain their abilities to eat, drink and speak. Andrea’s passion for voice however started much earlier. At 18 years she moved to Italy to study classical voice and in 2010 she completed her Bachelor of Music majoring in operatic voice (BMusVoice) at the Institute Pareggiato Rinaldo Franci in Siena. After moving back to Australia, Andrea completed a Graduate Diploma (GDipSphComm) and a Masters in Speech and Language Pathology (MSLP) at Macquarie University where she participated in research on post-stroke swallow and voice therapy. Andrea presented her research at the 2018 Speech Pathology Australia Conference in Adelaide.
